Akelius is seeking a creative and results driven Operations Administrator for a one-year contract.

The Operations Administrator supports the Operations Manager in managing day-to-day tasks, across the portfolio in Property Management, leasing and marketing.

The successful candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact in people’s lives, customer focussed and self driven.

 
  • assist with maintaining effective marketing for vacant apartment units
  • manage and audit marketing adverts
  • participate in leasing activities with showings where needed
  • provide and maintain comparable market analysis of competitor pricing, product, and incentives
  • proactively identify changes required due to current market and competitive changes in the marketplace
  • provide support to the Operations Manager in the day-to-day activities
  • various administrative functions relating to property management – primarily work orders
  • administer tenant feedback
  • assist in process management
  • complete other duties as assigned
 

who you are

  • hospitality and customer service experience is an asset
  • recent graduate in post-secondary education
  • one year of experience in residential property Management is an asset
  • intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Office
 
  • possess high level of attention to detail
  • ability to work independently and in team environment
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
 
  • strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • excellent ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • organizational and time management – ability to manage time, assess competing priorities and meet deadlines
 
  • ability to intuitively navigate various applications
  • Yardi experience a plus
  • valid driver’s license is an asset
