Job Description
The leasing agent is responsible for leasing apartments and providing exceptional customer service to ensure maximum occupancy and resident retention.

He or she must demonstrate a commitment to anticipating and exceeding the expectations of residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain an effective marketing strategy for vacant units.
- Coordinate showings from all marketing sources.
- Effectively lease vacant apartments and reduce vacancies through individual appointments and open houses.
- Be responsible for compiling complete application files, preparing leases, and handling all aspects of the move-in process.
- Enter prospect data into all required management systems.
- Stay informed about pricing, products, and incentives offered
- Proactively identify necessary changes based on current trends and market competition.
- Maintain close contact with clients and deliver a compelling final presentation.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years or more of experience in residential leasing.
- Bilingual in English and French required.
- Availability including weekends required.
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent (GED) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative and an excellent negotiator.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Organizational and administrative skills.
- Availability to work weekends, as needed or directed.
- Experience with Yardi is a plus.
What we offer:
Full-time permanent position
Competitive salary based on experience $50,000 to $55,000 + commissions ($1,000 to $3,000 per month on average)
